Prime Minister Harper met with Indo-Canadian business leaders today in Toronto to discuss their input to the country’s economic growth.

The Prime Minister told them the meeting was part of the nationwide consultation with business leaders in preparation for the budget.

“I’ll be looking forward to couple of things from you, first your own sense of where we are in terms of the economy,” he said.

He hoped the business leaders would support his agenda to keep tax rates low, as he would propose in the next budget.

In attendance at the business consultation were cabinet members Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance and Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism.
